For several weeks now, I have tried to reinstall the Pandora radip app on my I-phone. I had to remove it after an update faile to install for some strange reason. Now when I go in to the app store, and double-tap download, I get the connecting message, but then the button still says download, with no progress of downloading. How can I fix this problem? And if it can't be fixed, can anybody suggest services that are like Pandora and can be used on ios eight?

Restart your phone. Then get the app.
It is already in your iTunes library, so you could connect it to your computer and sync apps as well.
When I say restart, I mean hold the power button until you hear shutdown or whatever. Tap it and let the phone turn completely off.
Wait a bit, then press the power button and turn it back on.

I have already tried doing this, with the same resulted I mentioned above. However, I will give the iTunes method a try.

I will add this.
Open up the app store on the phone.
On the right side tap on update.
At the top you’ll see purchase, tap that on.
Now at the top you see all, or a bit over to the right you find not on this iPhone. You can use either, but not on this iPhone will give you less items.
Locate the Pandora and you’ll understand how to install it.
To the far right, you should find download, but play with it a bit you’ll understand.
It is already there, because it was once on the phone, so is on your list of apps.

Last on this subject.
If you are unable to install Pandora after all the steps I’ve given you, you’ll have to do a factory reset of your phone.
For us, this is best done using iTunes, but it you have sighted help, in case you run in to trouble, you can do it under settings, and general.
ITunes allows you to have screen reader support for the complete process, plus it allows you to back up your stuff for later installing.
